The TTCA Rescue program attempts to find homes for Tibetan Terriers that for one reason or another can no longer stay in their previous homes. In an ideal world, there would not be any need for the rescue program, but in the real world, there are occasionally Tibetan Terriers available for adoption from the rescue program.

We have three dogs currently needing homes.
See their photos and stories.

Tibetan Terrier Rescue
in Missouri
After several months of failed inspections and sub-standard conditions, a Missouri breeding facility was shut down on February 8, 2009. As a result of this closure 18 Tibetan Terriers were seized. These dogs ranged in age from seven months to 12 years old.

If you are interested in adopting a rescued Tibetan Terrier, we need to know quite a bit more about you and your situation. We have a fairly extensive Rescue Questionnaire that we ask interested parties to fill out.
PLEASE NOTE: Thanks to overwhelming participation, applicants will only be contacted if there is a dog available in their area.
